Membership of the AFLTA is open to all Sports Trainers working for AFL Clubs, and AFL affiliated Clubs
The AFL Trainers Association Inc. is a national organisation to represent the views and to promote the value of Sports Trainers working for AFL Clubs and for Clubs affiliated with the AFL.
Membership of the AFLTA is open to all Sports Trainers working for AFL Clubs, and AFL affiliated Clubs. The Association is managed by a committee of six elected members.
The key activities of the AFLTA are to :
Promote the provision of a high level of service to players of the AFL and Affiliated Clubs
Provide a pathway for further education of AFL Sports Trainers in conjunction with a Registered Training Organisation
Promote the value of Sports Trainers to players and Clubs
Encourage AFL Sports Trainers to undertake education and training as a means of self-improvement and thereby contribute to the overall raising of the standards of service.
